Dalcour Maclaren in the UK is seeking an experienced Land Referencing Specialist to support high‑profile DCO and CPO projects. You will act as the main contact between communities, stakeholders and our delivery teams to submit Books of Reference and ensure accuracy.

You will identify data sources, coordinate with suppliers, mentor junior staff and ensure compliant, well‑documented deliverables. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site are required.

Qualifications

• Experience of land referencing for DCO and CPO projects.
• Expert knowledge of statutory processes; ability to mentor and train team members.
• Client-facing and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong IT skills; familiarity with GIS and ability to adapt to new tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills; results-driven and a problem solver.
• Ability to manage large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Awareness of GIS.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact between affected parties, communities and delivery teams to submit DCO and CPO Books of Reference.
• Manage projects and requests, ensuring requirements and objectives are met, and build positive relationships with clients and the team.
• Lead in identifying key data sources, engaging with suppliers to license, obtain and set up the required environment and processes to gain best value.
• Ensure all relevant information is identified, extracted, verified and uploaded to our bespoke internal land referencing database.
• Communicate with project stakeholders to record and update land ownership data.
• Guide junior team members to meet client requirements and quality standards.
• Carry out work in compliance with relevant legal, statutory, contractual and organisational requirements and policies.
• Be commercially aware, maintain good records and provide regular client updates and ensure accurate billing.
