Vision Survey Ltd is seeking a skilled Land & Engineering Surveyor to join our team around Milton Keynes / Northampton, covering Central England, Midlands, Banbury and Heathrow as required. The role combines land and engineering surveying with travel across the region to support diverse construction and monitoring projects.

You will work independently on site, deliver topographical and engineering surveys, and maintain high standards of quality and service for major civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in land surveying and engineering surveying.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles and geospatial data.
• Experience using total stations, GNSS, digital levels and modern survey technologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and N4CE software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Undertake topographical, measured building and boundary surveys.
• Carry out engineering setting out, monitoring and as-built surveys on construction and infrastructure projects.
• Operate Leica total stations, GNSS equipment, digital levels and laser scanning technology.
• Ensure works are delivered accurately, safely and in accordance with project requirements.
• Process and manage survey data using AutoCAD and N4CE.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Maintain survey records, quality assurance procedures and digital workflows.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are upheld across all site activities.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support technical problem solving and provide practical survey solutions on site.
• Represent Vision Survey professionally at all times.
