Development Manager - Residential Developer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a residential developer as Development Manager, working on the development and delivery of housing schemes in the South West.

This company is a great fit if you’re looking to work in a supportive but ambitious environment with clear career progression.

This is a new role within the business, reporting straight into the Regional Managing Director, and with strong potential for career progression as the development pipeline grows. You will be tasked with working on sites from cradle to grave, including land acquisition and driving schemes through development & delivery.

The salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 plus package.

You should come from a land, planning, or development background and have an understanding of the start-to-finish development process on housing schemes.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing and coordinating individual projects across sites
2. Ensuring projects align with and achieve the company’s objectives, such as design specifications and financial targets
3. Driving projects through acquisition, planning, design, and delivery

Key requirements:

• Degree qualified is desirable, ideally in property or related field
• Experience in driving housebuilding projects through the development process
• Currently working for a housebuilder or development agency
• Understanding of land acquisition, planning, design, and project delivery
• Determined, hungry, and ambitious
• Ability to work autonomously and independently
