Development Manager - Residential Developer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a residential developer as a Development Manager, working on the development and delivery of housing schemes in the South West.

This is a new role within the business, reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, with strong potential for career growth as the development pipeline expands. You will be responsible for managing sites from inception to completion, including land acquisition and steering schemes through development & delivery.

The salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits package.

You should come from a land, planning, or development background with an understanding of the entire development process for housing schemes.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing and coordinating individual projects across multiple sites
2. Ensuring projects meet company objectives, including design specifications and financial targets
3. Driving projects forward through land acquisition, planning, design, and delivery phases

Key requirements:

• Degree qualification is desirable, preferably related to property
• Experience in managing housebuilding projects through the development process
• Current employment with a housebuilder or development agency
• Understanding of land acquisition, planning, design, and project delivery
• Driven, ambitious, and proactive
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
