Job summary
Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) at Writtle is seeking an experienced College Lecturer in Land-based Service Engineering or an experienced Land-based Service Engineer/technician to deliver CNH Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship programmes. You will teach in workshops and classrooms, developing specialist content for apprentices across multiple levels.
The role offers opportunities to progress into teaching training, work with CNH machinery, and travel to employer sites.
Qualifications
- Interest in servicing and repairing agricultural machinery and working with CNH equipment
- Background knowledge in agricultural/service engineering workshop activities
- GCSE English and Maths Level 2 and NVQ Level 4 or equivalent; teaching qualifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Developing specialist subject delivery for level 2 and level 3 apprentices
- Preparation, delivery and supervision of live work projects (tractor and machinery repairs)
- Work with workshop operations including health and safety compliance
- Transporting apprentices (Minibus driving) and attending CNH training courses
- Undertake technical, educational and personal development courses including teaching training
