Job summary

Northumberland College requires an experienced Programme Leader to deliver Agriculture Level 2 and Level 3, focusing on safe operation and maintenance of modern farm machinery. You will guide Level 2 Land-based Engineering and help students develop practical skills for the agricultural sector.

The role is based at Kirkley Hall Campus, two days per week, with opportunities to pursue a teaching qualification and engage with industry partners to reflect current practices.

Qualifications

  • Hands on experience operating a wide range of farm machinery and equipment.
  • Experience planning and delivering inclusive learning sessions.
  • Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification is welcomed.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high quality, sequenced learning through career focused schemes of learning.
  • Provide an excellent experience to students through exemplary learning, teaching and standards of assessment.
  • Teach students to high standards using varied approaches and learning technologies.
  • Actively engage in reflective practice and contribute to professional development.
  • Liaise with the wider support team to ensure high-quality academic support.
  • Participate in college recruitment and marketing events where required.
