Job summary

Anglia Ruskin University seeks a skilled lecturer in Land-based Service Engineering to deliver CNH Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships. You will teach practical workshop sessions and theory, mentoring students and coordinating live projects across workshops.

The role involves liaising with employers, visiting training sites and pursuing teacher development. A teaching qualification or intent to train within a year is preferred, with CNH machinery experience an advantage.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths Level 2; NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
• Endorsed teaching qualification or willingness to commence teacher training within 12 months.
• Experience in agricultural/service engineering environments; CNH machinery knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 2 and 3 CNH apprenticeship theory and practical sessions.
• Supervise live student projects including tractor repairs and servicing.
• Coordinate workshop health and safety and equipment maintenance.
• Liaise with employers and Basildon training centre; travel UK for workplace visits.
• Pursue professional development including teacher training opportunities.
