Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking a Project Coordinator for Apprenticeship and Technical Education in Preston. The role focuses on supporting employers to recruit and develop talent through apprenticeships and technical education pathways within a hybrid working arrangement.

You will work with employers, schools, training providers and government partners to deliver high-profile initiatives, manage grants and lead on several Lancashire skills programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support Lancashire businesses to recruit, develop and retain talent through apprenticeships and technical education.
• Provide impartial guidance to SMEs on apprenticeships and technical education.
• Promote apprenticeships, skills initiatives and funding opportunities to employers.
• Coordinate delivery of the Lancashire Young Apprenticeship Grant programme and the Lancashire Skills Pledge.
• Organise events, prepare reports and develop case studies showcasing impact.
