Job summary

Crosby Composites Limited is offering a Laminating apprentice position at our Wellingborough site. You will work with experienced production operatives and gain a wealth of knowledge and skills through hands-on training in laminate processes.

This apprenticeship covers Lean Manufacturing Level 2 and provides a clear path into the high-end automotive and motorsport sectors, with regular hours 8:00am to 4:30pm, 23 days’ annual leave, private healthcare, a pension scheme, and access to a rewards

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings would be an advantage but not essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are important.
• Health and safety awareness is required on site.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills are important.
• Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Laminating.
• Checking information on drawings is clear.
• Checking route card instructions are correct.
• Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy.

We have some amazing opportunities for school leavers with a passion for Formula One and Motorsport to join our company as a Laminating apprentice at our Wellingborough site. You would be working with some of the best production operatives in the business and gain a wealth of knowledge and skills.

This is a great way to start your career in the industry as well as gaining a qualification. The course is Lean Manufacturing Level 2.

You would be contracted to work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
