Job summary

Databricks is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Director, Lakebase Sales Specialists to lead a regional team. You will drive revenue growth, build a robust pipeline, and collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and regional leadership to modernise databases and operational workloads on the Databricks platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud platform sales.
• Experience directly managing high-performing enterprise sales or specialist teams.
• Proven success in executing specialised GTM motions or scaling new product lines.
• Strong technical baseline and understanding of modern architectures, including APIs and real-time systems.
• Proven track record selling into CIOs, CTOs, architecture and platform engineering organisations.
• Ability to co-sell and navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
• A proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets.
• Ability to translate complex platform capabilities into tangible business value.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by owning targets for Lakebase in the region.
• Build and maintain a healthy regional pipeline across application modernization, database consolidation, and operational workloads.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Lakebase Sales Specialists.
• Provide direct coaching on deal strategy, technical qualification, and executive engagement.
• Collaborate with regional sales leadership to integrate specialists into account plans and territory strategies.
• Lead architecture workshops and developer engagement initiatives to demonstrate business value.
• Provide field feedback to Product, GTM, and Engineering with regional requirements and blockers.
