Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect (Lakebase) to drive adoption of a strategic product line across a regional territory. You will partner with Account Executives, craft demos and assets, and guide clients toward successful Lakebase integrations in GTM initiatives.

You will lead data-focused discussions, influence roadmaps with field insights, and provide expert guidance across OLTP, data engineering, and AI ecosystems to secure scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise with a proven track record of designing and delivering client-facing solutions.
• Credibility in influencing OLTP products with market insight to shape roadmap capabilities.
• Experience architecting solutions that integrate transactional data systems within Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
• Infrastructure, platform and administration expertise around disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out, identity and security management, migrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across territory.
• Serve as a trusted Solutions Architect, building technical credibility to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral to increase knowledge and thought leadership.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived insights into strategic recommendations.
• Act as tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical environments.
