Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a Labourer/Driver to join our depot team. You will keep the yard and vehicles clean and ensure all equipment leaving the depot is thoroughly checked and maintained to the highest standards.

The role requires a full driving licence; forklift licence is a bonus, and a strong understanding of health and safety protocols is essential. You will deliver and collect Pump & Power Equipment to GAP Group customers with reliability and care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hire depot or yard environment
• Forklift licence would be highly beneficial
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and ability to follow guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Full driving licence is essential

About the role

The Role

GAP Pump & Power Services Division provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

Working in the heart of the depot the Labourer/Driver will be responsible for keeping all areas clean and tidy day in day out, and ensuring that any equipment leaving the depot has been checked and maintained to the highest standards. You will also ensure timeous professional delivery and collection of Pump & Power Equipment to and from GAP Group customers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

About You

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working within a similar role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment
• Forklift Licence would be highly beneficial
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Full driving licence is essential
