Job summary

GAP Group Ltd. seeks a Labourer to join GAP Pump Services at the depot. You will keep the yard clean, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure equipment exits the depot in safe, well‑maintained condition.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role; a forklift licence is desirable with training provided. You will follow health and safety guidelines, deliver strong customer service, and maintain attention to detail across daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hire depot or yard environment.
• Forklift licence would be highly desirable; however, full training will be provided.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and ability to follow them in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Keep all depot areas clean and tidy on a daily basis.
• Perform heavy lifting as part of duties.
• Ensure equipment leaving the depot is checked and maintained to the highest standards.

The Role

GAP Pump Services provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for dewatering and sewerage pump applications including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

Working in the heart of the depot the Labourer will be responsible for keeping all areas clean and tidy day in day out, heavy lifting and ensuring that any equipment leaving the depot has been checked and maintained to the highest standards.

About You

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working within a similar role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment
• Forklift licence would be highly desirable however full training will be provided
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
