GAP Group in Bournemouth is seeking a proactive Labourer to support our Non-Mechanical Division. You will help keep the depot workshop and yard clean, prepare non-mechanical equipment for hire, and assist the team in delivering excellent service to customers across construction and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment.
• Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative in a busy environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• CSCS card, forklift licence, and driving licence are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Keep the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
• Clean equipment and store it in an orderly fashion.
• Quality-check equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready.
• Assist with general workshop duties as required.
• Carry out driving duties (subject to licence) and assist Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Operate forklift when necessary.

As a Labourer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our depot runs smoothly and safely. You'll maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop and yard, prepare Non-Mechanical equipment for hire, and support the wider team to deliver exceptional service to our customers across construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing
