Job summary

Search Consultancy is recruiting a reliable General Site Labourer for a major Teesport project. You will support site operations, maintenance, material handling, and trades teams in a busy industrial environment.

Required CSCS card, site experience, 5-point PPE, and reliable attendance. We offer weekly pay with two payroll options: 16.71/hr Umbrella or 12.71/hr PAYE Direct, and long-term ongoing hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card (Green Labourer or above) is mandatory.
• Proven experience as General Labourer on construction, civils or industrial sites.
• Full standard 5-point PPE: hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, safety boots, gloves, eye protection.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and proactive attitude.
• Valid proof of right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Site Maintenance & housekeeping to keep walkways, welfare facilities, storage areas, and bays clean and hazard-free.
• Material Handling & logistics: assist unloading deliveries, move materials safely, stock up gangs.
• Trade Support: assist skilled trades, civil gangs, and sub-contractors with basic duties.
• Waste Management: segregate site waste into appropriate skips and keep areas clean.
• Health & Safety Adherence: follow guidelines, wear PPE, report hazards.

Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Site Labourer for an active project in Teesport. Offering clear, compliant payroll choices of 16.71/hr (Umbrella) or 12.71/hr (PAYE Direct), this position provides stable, ongoing hours for a hard-working operative ready to support site operations.

If you hold a valid CSCS card, have a strong work ethic, and want reliable weekly income with a major region contractor, we want to hear from you.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Working closely with site supervisors and trade teams, you will keep site operations running safely and efficiently:

• Site Maintenance & Housekeeping: Keeping walkways, welfare facilities, storage areas, and working bays clean, tidy, and free of hazards.
• Material Handling & Logistics: Assisting with unloading deliveries, safely moving construction materials across site, and stocking up trade gangs.
• Trade Support: Assisting skilled tradespeople, civil gangs, and sub-contractors with basic site duties as required.
• Waste Management: Segregating site waste into appropriate skips and maintaining clean working areas.
• Health & Safety Adherence: Strictly following site health and safety guidelines, wearing correct PPE at all times, and reporting any safety hazards to site management.

What We're Looking For

To satisfy site entry and industrial safety standards, applicants must possess:

• CSCS Card: A valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer or above) is strictly mandatory.
• Site Experience: Proven experience working as a General Labourer on construction, civils, or industrial sites.
• PPE: Full standard 5-point PPE (hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, safety boots, gloves, eye protection).
• Reliability: Strong attendance record, punctual habits, and a proactive attitude toward physical work.
• Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK.
