Job summary

Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Site Labourer to support ongoing facility operations in Ripon, North Yorkshire. This full-time role requires an active or clear Enhanced DBS check and a CSCS Card (Green Labourer or above).

You will assist with site maintenance, material handling, trade support, waste management, and safety compliance while wearing standard PPE. The position offers steady hours, secure environment, and weekly payroll every Friday.

Qualifications

• DBS & Vetting: Must hold an active Enhanced DBS check or be capable of passing a comprehensive background check.
• A valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer or above).
• Proven site experience on construction, civil engineering, or secure facility sites.
• Standard PPE: hard hat, high-visibility clothing, safety boots, gloves, eye protection.
• Punctuality and reliability with good attendance on site.
• Right to work in the UK with valid photo ID.

Responsibilities

• Site Maintenance & housekeeping across live areas and welfare facilities.

Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Site Labourer to support ongoing facility and construction operations in Ripon. Due to the high-security nature of this project, candidates must hold or be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check alongside security vetting.

If you hold a valid CSCS card, have a strong work ethic, and meet the security clearance requirements, this position offers steady hours, reliable weekly pay, and a secure working environment.

Working under site management, you will assist in keeping the facilities and project zones running safely and efficiently:

• Site Maintenance & Housekeeping: Maintaining cleanliness across live work areas, access routes, storage compounds, and welfare facilities.

• Material Handling & Logistics: Safely loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and site supplies across the site.

• Trade Support: Assisting civil engineering gangs, maintenance personnel, and sub-contractors with basic physical duties as required.

• Waste Management: Clearing debris, segregating materials into designated skips, and keeping work areas free of safety hazards.

• Security & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhering to site protocols, wearing standard PPE, and following safety guidelines at all times.

To satisfy site entry rules and security standards, all applicants must possess:

• DBS & Vetting: Must hold an active Enhanced DBS check or be fully capable of passing a comprehensive background check / security clearance (strictly mandatory).

• CSCS Card: A valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer or above).

• Site Experience: Proven experience working as a General Labourer on construction, civil engineering, or secure facility sites.

• PPE: Standard 5-point PPE (hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, safety boots, gloves, protective eye wear).

• Punctuality & Reliability: Strong attendance record and a respectful, disciplined approach to working on site.

• Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK (with valid photo ID for daily site access).
