Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades (bricklayers, carpenters, groundworkers) with daily operations.
• Unloading delivery vehicles and distributing materials safely across site.
• Sweeping work zones and clearing construction debris, maintaining skips.
• Keep access routes, stairwells and walkways clear, tidy and hazard-free.
• Follow health and safety rules and wear full PPE at all times.

Job Title: General Construction Labourer

Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (TN13 / TN14)

Start Date: Immediate / Thursday 5th November 2026

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term

Working Hours: 8 Paid Hours Per Day (Monday to Friday, standard day shifts)

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on pay type)

About the Role

We are urgently recruiting a reliable, hard-working General Site Labourer for an ongoing project on an active construction site in Sevenoaks, starting immediately.

This role offers steady, full-time hours (8 paid hours per day) and consistent weekly pay for a dependable operative based in or near Sevenoaks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades (bricklayers, carpenters, groundworkers) with daily operations.

• Unloading delivery vehicles and distributing materials safely across site.

• Sweeping work zones, clearing construction debris, and maintaining site skips.

• Keeping access routes, stairwells, and walkways clear, tidy, and hazard-free.

• Following site health and safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.

Requirements

• Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis jacket/vest, hard hat, and safety gloves).

• Previous general site labouring experience.

Working Hours & Benefits
