Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a General Construction Labourer for a commercial site in Tonbridge, Kent. The role starts towards the end of October 2026, offers full-time hours and long-term ongoing work with weekly pay through PAYE, Umbrella, or CIS options.

You'll assist trades on site, unload deliveries, keep access routes clear, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while adhering to site health and safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times. Valid CSCS card is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above)
• Full PPE (steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, safety gloves)
• Previous general site labouring experience
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades (bricklayers, carpenters, groundworkers) with daily site operations.
• Unloading delivery trucks and safely moving building materials across site.
• Keeping access routes, stairwells, and walkways clear, safe, and free of hazards.
• General site maintenance, sweeping work areas, and managing recycling skips.
• Following site health & safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.

Job Title: General Construction Labourer

Location: Tonbridge, Kent (TN9 / TN10)

Start Date: Late October 2026

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on pay type)

About the Role

We are recruiting a reliable, hard-working General Labourer for an upcoming position on a commercial construction site in Tonbridge, starting towards the end of October 2026.

This role offers full-time hours, consistent weekly pay, and steady ongoing work through the autumn and winter months with an established contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades (bricklayers, carpenters, groundworkers) with daily site operations.

• Unloading delivery trucks and safely moving building materials across site.

• Keeping access routes, stairwells, and walkways clear, safe, and free of hazards.

• General site maintenance, sweeping work areas, and managing recycling skips.

• Following site health & safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.

Requirements

Working Hours & Benefits

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).
