Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above) is required.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport are essential due to rural site access.
• Full PPE (steel toe-cap boots, high-vis, hard hat, gloves) required.
• Previous experience on active construction sites preferred.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist site trades with daily operations and manual handling tasks.
• Unload delivery vehicles and distribute materials across site.
• Sweep areas, clear debris, and manage skips safely.
• Keep access routes and perimeters clear and safe.
• Follow site health and safety rules and wear PPE at all times.

Job Title: General Construction Labourer (Driver / CSCS)

Location: Wepham, near Arundel, West Sussex (BN18)

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Contract Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing

Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on pay type)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades with daily operations and manual handling tasks.
• Unloading delivery vehicles and distributing materials safely across site.
• Sweeping work areas, clearing construction debris, and maintaining skips.
• Keeping access routes, walkways, and site perimeters clear and safe.
• Adhering to site health and safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence & Own Transport (essential due to rural site access).
• Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).
• Previous experience working on active construction sites.
• Reliable, punctual, and available for an immediate start.
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling.
• Right to work in the UK.
