Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a General Construction Labourer for a one-week cover role on a live site in Dartford, Kent. The successful applicant must have a valid CSCS card and PPE, and be available to start tomorrow morning through to Monday 19th October 2026.

The role involves assisting trades, unloading deliveries, keeping the site tidy, and following safety procedures. Pay is £14.00-£15.50 per hour, with weekly pay via CIS/umbrella/PAYE.

Qualifications

• CSCS card (Green Labourer card or above) required.
• Full PPE including steel-toe-cap boots, hi-vis clothing, hard hat and gloves.
• Previous general site labouring experience.
• Available to start tomorrow morning (13th Oct) through to Monday 19th Oct.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades with manual handling and routine site tasks.
• Unload deliveries and move materials safely.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy; maintain safe walkways.

About the Role

We are urgently recruiting a reliable General Site Labourer for a short-term cover role on an active construction site in Dartford, starting tomorrow morning, Tuesday 13th October 2026, running through until Monday, 19th October 2026.

This is ideal for someone local who is available immediately and wants to secure 1 week of solid, guaranteed work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades with general manual handling and daily operational duties.
• Unloading delivery vehicles and safely moving construction materials across site.
• Sweeping work zones, clearing debris, and keeping site skips tidy.
• Maintaining safe walkways, stairwells, and access routes.
• Following site health and safety procedures and wearing full PPE at all times.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).
• Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis jacket/vest, hard hat, and safety gloves).
• Previous general site labouring experience.
• Hard-working, punctual, and dependable.
• Available to start tomorrow morning (Tuesday 13th October) and cover through to Monday 19th October.
• Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 paid hours for the duration).
• Dates: Tuesday, 13th October 2026 - Monday, 19th October 2026.
• Location: Dartford (DA1 / DA2).
• Fast, weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
