Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a General Construction Labourer for an upcoming residential build in Maidstone. You will support bricklayers, carpenters, and groundworkers, and help move materials around the site.

Hours are full-time with steady, ongoing work and weekly pay options. You must be physically fit, reliable, and committed to working safely on site in Maidstone, Kent.

Qualifications

• CSCS card (Green Labourer or above) is essential.
• Full PPE (steel toe boots, high-visibility clothing, hard hat, gloves) required.
• Previous general site labouring experience preferred.
• Hard-working, punctual and dependable work ethic is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist site trades with daily operations.
• Offload delivery vehicles and move materials safely across site.
• Keep access routes and work areas clean and safe.
• Sweep and manage site debris and recycling skips.
• Follow site health and safety rules and wear PPE at all times.

Job Title: General Construction Labourer

Location: Maidstone, Kent (ME14 / ME15)

Start Date: Monday, 21st September 2026

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long:Term

Pay Rate: GBP13.50 : GBP15.00 per hour (dependent on pay type)

About The Role

We are recruiting a reliable, hard:working General Labourer for an upcoming residential build in Maidstone, starting on Monday, 21st September 2026.

This role offers full:time hours, consistent weekly pay, and steady, ongoing work through the autumn with a reputable main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades (bricklayers, carpenters, groundworkers) with daily operations.
• Offloading delivery vehicles and moving building materials safely across site levels.
• Keeping access routes, walkways, and work areas clean, safe, and clear of hazards.
• Sweeping, clearing debris, and managing site recycling skips.
• Following site health and safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).
• Full PPE (Steel toe:cap boots, high:vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).
• Previous general site labouring experience.
• Hard:working, punctual, and dependable work ethic.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours and Benefits

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM : 4:30 PM (40:45 hours per week).
• Start Date: Monday, 21st September 2026.
• Duration: Ongoing long:term work.
• Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
