Job summary

Randstad CPE is hiring a General Construction Labourer for an upcoming residential build in Maidstone, starting Monday 21st September 2026.

You will assist site trades, offload deliveries, keep areas clean, and follow health and safety rules. Full-time hours, 40-45 per week, with weekly pay.

Valid CSCS card, full PPE, and right to work in the UK are required; CIS/Umbrella/PAYE payroll options available.

Job Title: General Construction Labourer

Location: Maidstone, Kent (ME14 / ME15)

Start Date: Monday, 21st September 2026

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term

Pay Rate: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on pay type)

About the Role

We are recruiting a reliable, hard-working General Labourer for an upcoming residential build in Maidstone, starting on Monday, 21st September 2026.

This role offers full-time hours, consistent weekly pay, and steady, ongoing work through the autumn with a reputable main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades (bricklayers, carpenters, groundworkers) with daily operations.

• Offloading delivery vehicles and moving building materials safely across site levels.

• Keeping access routes, walkways, and work areas clean, safe, and clear of hazards.

• Sweeping, clearing debris, and managing site recycling skips.

• Following site health & safety rules and wearing full PPE at all times.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).

• Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).

• Previous general site labouring experience.

• Hard-working, punctual, and dependable work ethic.

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

• Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).

• Start Date: Monday, 21st September 2026.

• Duration: Ongoing long-term work.

• Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
