Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a Labourer to cover Huntingdon and surrounding areas on a permanent basis. You will carry out general repairs across domestic properties and support trades in joinery, tiling, painting and basic plumbing.

Working hours are 08:00-16:30, with a company van, fuel card and PPE provided. A full UK driving licence is required and employment offers 35 days annual leave, overtime, pension contributions and a secure permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or general repairs.
• Basic knowledge of multiple trades.
• UK driving licence.
• Based in Huntingdon or nearby.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs across domestic properties, internally and externally.
• Support trades including joinery, tiling, painting and basic plumbing.
• Work to specifications and health & safety requirements.
• Work with supervisors and wider teams to meet deadlines.
• Record work activity and complete required paperwork.
• Provide good customer service and support team performance.

Join a well-established social housing contractor on a permanent contract as a Labourer, covering Huntingdon and surrounding areas.

As a Labourer, you will be:

• Carrying out general repairs across domestic properties, internally and externally
• Supporting trades including joinery, tiling, painting and basic plumbing
• Working to specifications and health & safety requirements
• Working with supervisors and wider teams to meet deadlines
• Recording work activity and completing required paperwork
• Providing good customer service and supporting team performance

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• Previous experience in property maintenance or general repairs
• Basic knowledge of multiple trades
• Experience working across domestic propertiesGood attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work to deadlines and follow health & safety procedures
• A full UK driving licence
• Ideally based in or around Huntingdon

The Labourer role is offering:

• £28,000 per year
