Keepmoat Limited in Halifax is recruiting a Labourer for a full-time permanent role at the Brow Bottom site (HX2 8TE). You will work with the Site Manager and the site team to keep the work running smoothly and safely.

You will support loading, unloading, and movement of materials, maintain welfare facilities, assist with plant movements, and help ensure a clean, secure site. A CSCS card is required, Banksman qualification is advantageous.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Labourer to join us on a full time permanent, directly employed basis, based at our Halifax, Brow Bottom site (HX2 8TE). TheLabourer will work with the Site Manager and the rest of the site team to ensure the smooth running of the site.

The main duties of the Labourer will be as below;

• Constantly reinforce the Health & Safety culture, striving for an accident free site. If accidents happen, ensure that First Aid is administered (where appropriate),
• reported to the Construction Director and recorded on SHEQ systems.
• To ensure that the site is adequately secured at all times.
• To ensure cleanliness of site including sweeping, cleaning as required and that welfare facilities and site offices are maintained to a good standard.
• To work with site team to ensure trades have supplies, equipment as necessary in order for them to fulfil their role.
• To use protective equipment, substances, tools and equipment in accordance with instructions and training given.
• To ensure site is operated safely and any incidents are reported to site management.
• To assist in the loading and unloading of materials and moving and stacking of materials as required by site management.
• To be responsible for guiding plant and machinery on/off and around the site and ensure that any lift operations are undertaken in the correct location andform part of the site method statement.

• To take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your work and adhere to the Keepmoat Health, Safety and Sustainability standards

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

They will be collaborative with the ability to work and communicate with a variety of different peopleon site. They will have the ability to be creative and proactive, using their problem-solving skills to own issues and see them through to completion. Theywill work in a straightforward way, with a self-motivated, solutions focused approach.

Applicants should have relevant experience in a similar role on a new build site. They will hold a valid CSCS card.
Those with a Banksman qualification would be at an advantage.
