Qualifications

• Previous labourer experience, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment.
• CSCS card advantageous and licences recognised where applicable.
• Ability to work safely and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
• Clean plant equipment and store it in an orderly fashion.
• Refuelling plant and machinery, updating fuel logs.
• Quality-check equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready.
• Assist with general workshop duties as required.
• Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Operate forklift when necessary.

As a Labourer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our depot runs smoothly and safely. You'll maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop and yard, prepare plant equipment for hire, and support the wider team to deliver exceptional service to our customers across construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

• Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free


• Cleaning plant equipment and store it in an orderly fashion


• Refuelling plant and machinery, accurately updating fuel logs


• Quality-checking equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready


• Assisting with general workshop duties as required


• Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles


• Operating forklift when necessary

What You'll Bring
