Job summary

GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a proactive Labourer to join our Non-Mechanical Division at our Bournemouth depot.

The role focuses on keeping the workshop and yard clean, preparing non-mechanical equipment for hire, and supporting a fast-paced team across construction and infrastructure sectors. You will contribute to a safe, well-organised site, perform basic workshop duties, and may assist with driving and loading/unloading tasks if licensed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment.
• CSCS card, forklift licence and driving licence are advantageous.
• Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
• Clean equipment and store it in an orderly fashion.
• Quality-check equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready.
• Assist with general workshop duties as required.
• Carry out driving duties (subject to licence) and assist Drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Operate forklift when necessary.

You'll maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop and yard, prepare Non-Mechanical equipment for hire, and support the wider team to deliver exceptional service to our customers across construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
