Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley is hiring a Labourer in South London to support the Property department. You will work a 40‑hour week, typically 8am to 6pm, in a social housing environment. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Applicants should have NVQ2 or equivalent trade experience and previous experience in social housing or local authorities. A UK driving licence is advantageous for this role.

The role

Title: Labourer

Location: South London

Salary: £29,397 - £30,944

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am - 6pm.

Requirements

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
