Job summary

SC Johnson Professional in Denby, Derbyshire, is hiring a Laboratory Technician to ensure products are manufactured to high standards and batch pass rates are maintained. You will perform raw material and finished product analyses following GLP/GMP, with regular collaboration across Production, Quality and Supply Chain.

You will join a team including a Technical Manager, chemists, technicians and a microbiologist, carrying out microbiological and chemical testing and reporting results promptly

Qualifications

• Scientific qualifications at GCSE, A-level or degree level.
• Proven ability to perform accurate measurements and record results.
• Experience with GLP/GMP and microbiological testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out raw material and finished product analysis per GLP/GMP and company specs.
• Conduct microbiological testing within the laboratory team.
• Record results accurately and communicate adjustments to process operatives.
• Input material deliveries into systems and notify Purchasing of issues.
