Job summary
SC Johnson Professional Europe is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure products meet high standards and batch pass rates. You will perform material and finished product analyses, including microbiological and chemical testing, in close collaboration with Production, Quality and Supply Chain.
The team currently includes a Technical Manager, chemists, technicians and a microbiologist. Based in Denby, Derbyshire, the role offers on-site lab work with some cross-functional interactions and
Qualifications
- Scientific qualifications at GCSE/A-level/degree.
- Ability to perform measurements and record results.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out raw material and finished product analysis in GLP/GMP per company specifications.
- Carry out microbiological testing in accordance with GLP/GMP.
- Record the results of this analysis accurately and legibly.
- Calculate adjustments for products outside specifications and inform process operatives.
- Input raw material deliveries into relevant systems and inform Purchasing of any problems.
