Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a motivated Junior QC Analyst to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Nottingham. You will contribute to GMP and GDP-compliant documentation, prepare reagents, assist with instrument maintenance, and help maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment to support

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field, or equivalent lab experience.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Accurately record and report results in GMP and GDP-compliant systems.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, standards, and solutions.
• Assist in maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of laboratory instruments.
• Support investigations into out-of-specification results under supervision.
• Ensure all work is completed within timelines to support production.
• Maintain a clean, organised laboratory environment and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with documentation updates and general QC administrative tasks.
