Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Laboratory Technician Apprentice to support daily laboratory tasks, assist with testing, prepare samples, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. You will receive training and ongoing support throughout the apprenticeship.

Key duties include assisting with tests under supervision, preparing materials, recording results, and calibrating equipment. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safety compliance in a laboratory setting.

Competenze

• GCSEs (or predicted) in Maths and Science are desirable but not essential.
• Maths, English and a science subject GCSEs at grade 4-9 (or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.

As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day work of the laboratory, assisting with testing, preparing samples and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will be trained and supported throughout the apprenticeship.

Key duties include:

• Assisting with laboratory tests and experiments under supervision
• Preparing samples, materials and equipment for testing
• Accurately recording results and maintaining laboratory records
• Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
• Following health & safety procedures and quality standards
