Skills4Group in Cambridge is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join our laboratory team. You will learn hands-on lab skills while working towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship, earning while you learn.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will assist with tests, prepare samples, and maintain a clean, safe workspace under supervision. No prior lab experience is required, and full training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths, English and a science subject at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
• Ability to work unsupervised following a planned work schedule.
• Good writing and numeracy skills.
• Familiarity with computers, keyboards and typing.
• General awareness of safety in a laboratory.

Responsabilités

• Accurately recording results and maintaining laboratory records.

Cambridge , CB10 - We are looking for a motivated and practical Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join our laboratory team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, developing hands‑on laboratory skills while working towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs in Maths, English, and a science subject (or equivalent) at grade 4-9 or equivalent.

Because of the technical experience you will gain from working in a laboratory, you will gain skills which many graduates have yet to develop. If you have practical ability, ability to solve problems and good communication skills there are opportunities for progression towards higher qualifications.

About the role

As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day work of the laboratory, assisting with testing, preparing samples and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will be trained and supported throughout the apprenticeship.
