Job summary

South Yorkshire Apprenticeships in Doncaster is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join our team. Earn while you learn and work towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship.

You will support day-to-day laboratory work, assist with testing, prepare samples, and maintain a safe working environment. No prior lab experience is required and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Interest in science and laboratory work.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Basic IT skills.
• GCSEs (or predicted grades), particularly Maths and Science, are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with laboratory tests and experiments under supervision.

Doncaster, DN6 - We are looking for a motivated and practical Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join our laboratory team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, developing hands‑on laboratory skills while working towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship.

About the role:

As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day work of the laboratory, assisting with testing, preparing samples and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will be trained and supported throughout the apprenticeship.
