The Role

As a dedicated Laboratory Technician, you’ll dive into the fascinating world of microbiological testing!

Your role will involve performing analysis on food and environmental swabs, supporting testing procedures, ensuring efficient workflow, and adhering to good laboratory practices. You’ll prepare samples, plate, pour, and incubate them with top-notch aseptic techniques.

The day to day
  • To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
  • Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
  • Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
  • Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
  • To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • To keep accurate records.
