Job summary

SGS laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a permanent, on-site role in Ellesmere Port. Typical hours are 9am–5pm or 2pm–10pm with shift allowance; salary £24,785. You will prepare and run samples, record results, and ensure compliance with procedures within the Oil sector.

The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, can learn lab procedures quickly, and is computer-literate (Word/Excel). A full UK driving license is Desirable.

• Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm OR 2pm to 10pm (with shift allowance)

You will also have the following:

• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to learn laboratory procedures
• Be able to use a computer - word / excel - inputting numbers
• Full driving license for use in the UK - Desirable
