Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the on-site Quality Control lab. You will prepare samples, perform routine analytical testing and help ensure products meet strict quality standards. Full training is provided on site.

Due to location, a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential. Experience with Leco and/or ICP-OES is preferred; LIMS experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma, HND or degree in Chemistry or related science.
• Experience with Leco and/or ICP-OES is preferred; LIMS experience is an advantage.
• Previous QC or analytical lab experience desirable, but entry-level candidates will be considered.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen interest in learning.

• Prepare samples, reagents and standards, and carry out routine analytical testing.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Identify abnormal results and help investigate out-of-specification results.
• Support internal audits, proficiency testing and method validation.

Up to £32,000 depending on experience

Permanent

Monday to Friday, days

We're recruiting a Laboratory Technician for a well-established specialist manufacturer in Ellesmere Port who are going through a period of expansion. You'll join the Quality Control lab, where your analytical testing will support production and make sure products meet strict quality standards. Full training is given on site.

Due to location a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport is essential.

About You
