Select Engineering Limited in Wolverhampton is seeking a hands-on engineering delivery lead to drive precise execution of products. You will align with the Programme Product Map and use Technical Delivery Plans, Commodity Plans and Obstacle Escalation to ensure timely delivery.

The role centres on day-to-day engineering leadership within Vehicle Groups, monitoring health via KPIs, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering against cost/quality/time targets while embracing a modern luxury

Qualificações

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to plan, monitor and control programmes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Team player with a drive to deliver modern luxury products.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the day-to-day contact in Vehicle Groups to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Proactively monitor Engineering health through KPIs and resolve risks.
• Maintain integrity and coherence of the programme Engineering content.
• Manage communications with stakeholders and report progress at defined intervals.
• Undertake other work as directed by line manager in connection with the job.

Heads are required to work 39hr working week.

M - F, over alternating 2 shifts.

Early shift 06:00 - 14:00 (M-T), 06:00 - 13:00 (F).

Late shift 14:00 - 22:00 (M-T), 13:00 - 20:00 (F).

Duties:

• Engineering Delivery is responsible for driving our obsession for the precise execution of our products.
• We are integrated within the Group Structure of the Programme Product Map to ensure robust delivery using Technical Delivery Plans, Commodity Plans and Obstacle Escalation.
• The successful individual in post will have a responsibility for ensuring that we have the engineering entitlement to deliver the programme cycles to agreed Cost, Quality and Time targets. Join us and make a difference!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To act as the day-to-day contact in Vehicle Groups to ensure successful programme delivery

• Proactively monitor Engineering health through agreed KPIs leading to the resolution of risks
• Maintain overall integrity and coherence of the programme Engineering content
• Managing communications with stakeholders
• Report progress of the Engineering at defined intervals
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
