Job summary

Teledyne Labtech, based in Presteigne, seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to lead daily lab operations, ensure accurate chemical analysis, and drive safe, compliant testing. You will mentor staff and coordinate workflows to support manufacturing and customer needs.

The role requires a 3–5 year laboratory background with supervisory experience, strong data skills, and familiarity with Minitab, Excel and LIMS. A relevant science degree is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Higher qualifications such as a Master’s degree are advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory staff and allocate daily workloads to meet objectives.
• Coordinate testing schedules to support manufacturing and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs and ensure QA/compliance with standards.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
