Job summary

Teledyne Labtech, based in Presteigne, Mid Wales, is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead day-to-day lab operations, ensure accurate chemical analysis, and support manufacturing with effective monitoring. You will provide technical leadership, enforce safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline and 3–5 years of lab experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in a laboratory environment; supervision/leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial laboratory environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support laboratory personnel.
• Coordinate laboratory testing schedules to support manufacturing and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate, timely chemical analyses and maintain safe, compliant operations.
• Maintain logs and data in Minitab, Excel, and LIMS; assist audits and quality reviews.
