Job summary

South East Water UK is seeking a Laboratory Services Analyst to support our core Water Quality team. You will manage daily laboratory operations, ensure samples and deliveries are processed on time, and enter data accurately into the LIMS.

You will also handle bottle requests for commercial customers and act as the front-of-house contact across departments. Ideal candidates will have A-levels (or equivalent) with a relevant undergraduate degree as a bonus, strong numeracy and IT skills, and

Qualifications

• A-levels or equivalent; undergraduate degree desirable.
• Strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
• Experience in a laboratory or administrative setting.

Responsibilities

• Process all samples and deliveries arriving at the laboratory on time.
• Enter data accurately into the Laboratory Information Management System.
• Complete customer bottle requests and maintain reusable items.
• Communicate with senior staff on quality/technical issues and with departments.
• Maintain front-of-house contact with commercial customers and SE Water staff.
• Suggest improvements to methods to boost efficiency, flexibility and quality.
• Adhere to good laboratory practice and maintain housekeeping.
