Qualifications
- Experience leading a complex technical operation with commercial emphasis
- Proven responsibility for P&L, budgets and growth initiatives
- Background in a laboratory environment is essential
- ISO 17025 accreditation knowledge is highly valuable
Responsibilities
- Own the laboratory's commercial and operational performance including financials
- Ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to quality standards
- Assess workload, capacity and resources to meet demand
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue and efficiency
- Lead and develop the senior laboratory management team
- Maintain strong client relationships and drive customer service
- Support major bids and development of new business
- Maintain quality governance and ISO 17025 accreditation
