Job summary

Fugro UK is seeking a Laboratory Programme Lead in Wallingford to drive delivery of complex laboratory testing programmes supporting major infrastructure, energy and environmental projects. You will lead a team of programme professionals, ensure governance, resourcing and schedule control, and maintain client-focused service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in programme/project management.
• Proven experience leading a laboratory programme or commercial laboratory operation.
• Experience delivering projects in complex/high-throughput/regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Laboratory Programme Management team.
• Own the laboratory planning and programme management framework.
• Provide oversight of laboratory testing schedules and manage risks.
• Act as escalation point for programme issues balancing quality, cost and timelines.
• Build relationships with clients and laboratory stakeholders.
• Support commercial activities including tenders, proposals and invoicing.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs and smarter ways of working.
