Job summary

Apleona is seeking a Laboratory Auxiliary in Moreton to maintain laboratory equipment and work areas while supporting our lab technicians and managers with daily tasks.

You will handle hazardous waste disposal in line with regulations and manage consumables, solvents, glassware washing, stock, and lab coat management, contributing to a clean, compliant lab environment.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong IT skills and ability to learn software quickly.
• Ability to work flexibly and independently within the team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas.

Laboratory Auxiliary

Location – Moreton, CH46 1QW

Hours – Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 15:00pm

We’re currently looking to recruit a Laboratory Auxiliary, who will maintain laboratory equipment and work areas, whilst supporting our lab technicians and managers with daily tasks. You will be responsible for the disposing of hazardous waste in accordance with regulations and maintaining laboratory consumables and solvents. You will also conduct lab glass wash and stock and be responsible for lab coat management.

In addition to having strong attention to detail, you must be responsible and demonstrate excellent communication skills. If you thrive in fast-paced working environments that require a professional with drive and exceptional analytical skills, then you could be our ideal candidate.

As an Apleona Laboratory Auxiliary, we’re looking for:

• The ability to work flexibly and independently within the Laboratory Auxiliary team across various departments
• Previous experience of working within a laboratory
• Great customer service skills
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong IT skills
