Lab Technician - Coleraine - Permanent

You will be responsible for

The sampling, testing, and recording of dairy products at various stages of the production process. Duties will include:

• Carrying out quality control sampling and testing of products across all labs on site
• Recording test results and assisting with troubleshooting as required
• Completing and recording quality checks to ensure food safety, quality, and legality of packaging used in products
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
• Testing and releasing raw materials prior to production
• Completing daily equipment setup and calibration
• Conducting chemical and micro testing of products
• Performing organoleptic testing of dairy products and shelf life testing
• Preparing culture media, chemical solutions, and buffers

Criteria

• Previous experience in a similar role, e.g., lab technician, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to carry out testing/sample testing within a lab environment
• Strong communication skills & organisational ability
• Strong attention to detail
