Job description

We re currently recruiting for a Lab Technician on behalf of our client based in St Neots. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in production, assembly, or laboratory work who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with a great eye for detail.

As a Lab Technician, you ll be responsible for the collection, testing, and recording of data.

Main Duties

• Follow instructions for sample testing
• Prepare and test samples
• Maintain lab equipment
• Record test data using internal systems
• Report on quality issues to laboratory manager
• Work to tight deadlines in a fast paced working environment
• Keep the lab clean, organised, and well-stocked

Skills / Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Previous experience working within a lab is advantageous nut not essential as full training will be provided.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to thrive under time pressure in a busy environment
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and lab equipment

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday

08:00 until 16:00 (flexibility required)

GBP12.21 per hour
