Here’s your chance to Join Sidel as field service engineer. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to work with SIDEL one of the largest and expert in Food and Beverage Packaging, Manufacturing, System Engineering, High Tech, and high-speed Filling and Blowing machine.

Your Mission

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the installation, qualification, and testing of equipment, ensuring customer acceptance. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and safety specifications throughout your interventions.

Specifically, Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Installation and Qualification: Carry out the installation, testing, and qualification of equipment until final customer acceptance.
• Compliance Management: Ensure equipment complies with technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
• Operational Support: Operate mechanical systems and HMIs for routine tasks and troubleshooting, following standard operating procedures.
• Electrical Work: Perform electrical work as necessary.
• Non-conformity Management: Identify and resolve equipment non-conformities, ensuring proper handling and thorough documentation.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed progress and technical reports on performed work.
• Customer Satisfaction: Actively contribute to maintaining a high level of satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
  
  

Your Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
  

Languages

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Proficiency in additional languages (such as Italian, Spanish, etc.) will be considered a plus.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in field services, ideally within the beverage industry.
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, B&R, ELAU) is an advantage.
• Experience with Sidel equipment, including blowing, filling, and labeling machines, is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel up to 90% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
