Responsibilities / Role
This role ensures efficient laboratory operations, supporting scientific teams in delivering impactful research. Core duties include:
- Maintaining laboratory cleanliness, coordinating waste disposal and housekeeping
- Managing inventory, deliveries, and procurement support
- Recording and tracking assets and ensuring equipment maintenance schedules
- Performing cell-line quality testing (including mycoplasma and STR testing)
- Coordinating gas cylinder and cryogenic liquid support
- Supporting process documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- A Level or Degree in Biological or Life Sciences Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of work
- Strong problem-solving mindset and effective communication skills
