Job summary

Our client in Oxford is a biotech company focused on advancing cancer therapies through immunology, seeking a driven laboratory operations assistant. You will support scientific teams by maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, and coordinating equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities include waste disposal, asset tracking, documenting processes, and assisting with QA/continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• A Level or degree in Biological or Life Sciences.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of work.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and effective communication skills.

• Performing cell-line quality testing (including mycoplasma and STR testing)
