SGS in Glasgow is seeking a reliable Laboratory Support to keep lab areas clean, stocked and compliant. This 35‑hour/week role focuses on housekeeping, stock control and general maintenance rather than scientific testing.

You will support the laboratory team by maintaining a safe, efficient work environment and helping prep basic materials as directed. This entry‑level position suits hands‑on individuals valued for attention to detail.

Formación

• Experience in a laboratory support, cleaning, housekeeping, facilities, or similar environment.
• Enjoys practical hands‑on work and maintains high standards.
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach.
• Comfortable following procedures and working safely.
• A team player who enjoys supporting others.

Responsabilidades

• Keep laboratory areas clean, tidy, and compliant with procedures.
• Manage and replenish laboratory stock and consumables.
• Prepare basic laboratory materials and reagents following instructions.
• Handle waste disposal and support autoclave activities.
• Complete routine documentation and records accurately.
• Support scientists by ensuring labs are organised and ready for daily activities.
