Job summary

Avantor is seeking a detail-oriented shipping coordinator to support day-to-day lab operations at customer facilities in the UK. You will manage shipments of plasmid DNA, control mAbs, and other materials, prepare documentation, and liaise with the Sample Dispatch Unit and internal scientists to prevent delays.

You will also oversee cold-storage inventory and ensure compliance with GLP/LAB standards while communicating effectively across teams to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• Educated to HND or BSc in Life Science or related field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisation and time management with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment of DS materials and related paperwork.
• Liaise with Sample Dispatch Unit (SDU) and internal DS scientists.
• Monitor international shipments to minimise delays and ensure smooth flow.
