Job summary

Avantor in Cambridge invites a pragmatic logistics specialist to manage day-to-day lab shipments and support activities across DS facilities. You will coordinate shipments of plasmid DNA, control materials, and analytical samples, ensuring paperwork accuracy and on-time delivery while maintaining compliance with GLP/GDP standards.

Qualifications

• Educated to HND or BSc in Life Science or associated area.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Standards (GLS).
• Outstanding customer service focus and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Shipment coordination and logistics for DS materials and samples.
• Oversee internal sample tracking and DLIMS-related tasks.
• Maintain cold-storage inventory and ensure proper handling.
• Serve as primary contact for DS scientists regarding Avantor shipping systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with SDU to avoid delays.
